Nik Abnett
Nik Abnett has published work in a number of mediums, including advertising, training manuals, comics and short stories. She has worked as a ghost writer, is a frequent contributor to Black Library Publishing, and regularly collaborates with her partner, novelist and comic author Dan Abnett. In 2012 she was runner-up for the inaugural Mslexia novel-writing competition. Savant is her first solo, independent full-length work of fiction and publishes summer 2016.

Guy Adams
Guy Adams is a no-good, pen-toting son of a bitch. Responsible for over twenty penny-dreadfuls and scientific romances such as The World House and the Deadbeat series. He has also worked with the Hammer Books Gang creating novelisations of their foul kinematographs and has been known to operate under the alias of John Watson M.D. writing novels featuring that pansy-ass detective Sherlock Holmes. He is wanted in several states and a reward is offered for anyone quick enough to slip a noose around his crooked neck.

Tony Ballantyne
Tony Ballantyne is the author of Dream London, the Penrose Series and the Recursion Series, as well as numerous short stories. His work has appeared in Interzone, Private Eye and Analog, and he has been nominated for the BSFA and Philip K. Dick awards. Tony lives in Oldham with his wife and two children. His imagination is completely spent as a result of writing Dream Paris, and he now spends his time staring at blank walls, subsisting on a diet of dry crackers and distilled water.

Jonathan Barnes
Jonathan Barnes was born in 1979 and was educated in Norfolk and at Oxford University. His first novel, The Somnambulist, was published in 2007 and his second, The Domino Men, in 2008. Between them they have been translated into eight languages. He writes regularly for the Times Literary Supplement and the Literary Review and has contributed to the Arts pages of The Lancet. He is also the author of several full-cast audio dramas from Big Finish Productions, featuring characters from Sherlock Holmes, Frankenstein and Doctor Who.

Clifford Beal
Clifford Beal is a former journalist and the author of Gideon’s Angel and Raven's Banquet by Solaris Books. Following a swashbuckling past where he trained in 16th -17th century rapier combat, he now leads a more sedentary life but daydreams of returning to fighting trim. When not imbibing endless mugs of tea and writing, he can usually be found imbibing endless mugs of tea and reading. Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, he lives in Surrey, England with a fiery redhead of a wife and a crazed Boston terrier.

Simon Bestwick
Simon Bestwick lives in Lancashire and is the author of a previous novel, Tide of Souls, two short story collections, A Hazy Shade of Winter and Pictures of The Dark, and a chapbook, Angels of The Silences. His short fiction has appeared most recently in the anthologies Where the Heart is, Never Again and The End of The Line. Eric Brown

Nate Crowley lives in Walsall, and knows too much about the history of public aquaria. Once, he accidentally punched a wrasse while wearing a diving suit from the 1800s. He keeps a List of Animals. He is the author of Daniel Barker’s Birthday, and The Sea Hates A Coward is his first wossname.

Rowena Cory Daniells
Rowena Cory Daniells is passionate about writing. She lives by the bay with her husband and has six children. In her spare time she has devoted five years to studying each of these martial arts Tae Kwon Do, Aikido and Iaido, the art of the Samurai Sword. In 2016 Rowena was stunned when she was awarded the Peter McNamara Achievement Award for services to the speculative fiction genre.

Ellen Datlow
Ellen Datlow was the fiction editor of Omni magazine and Omni Online, and edited the ten associated anthologies. She has edited the horror portion of The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror series since 1988. She has also edited numerous original science fiction, fantasy, and horror anthologies. She was editor of the webzine Event Horizon: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror, and was the editor of Sci Fiction. Datlow won the Hugo Award for Best Professional Editor twice, has received two Bram Stoker Awards, seven World Fantasy Awards, three Locus Awards for Best Editor, and has twice led the Science Fiction Chronicle reader's poll.
