Signal To Noise and Meeting Infinity make Locus Awards shortlist

The Locus Awards 2016 finalists were announced last night, and it's fair to say we were pretty pleased with what we saw: three - THREE! - nominations for Solaris authors and editors.

First up, the ever-brilliant Silvia Moreno-Garcia joined the likes of Zen Cho and Ken Liu as a finalist in the First Novel category, for Signal to Noise. It's a book that people fall in love with, and we're delighted to see it's getting the recognition it so plainly deserves.

Next came a double whammy for editor extraordinaire Jonathan Strahan, who found himself a finalist in the Best Editor category, whilst the Strahan-edited Meeting Infinity made the Anthology list.

This is our second piece of award-based goodness of late, with Dave Hutchinson's Europe At Midnight shortlisted for the Clarkes. It's almost as if we publish amazing books or something...

A massive congratulations to all finalists, and here's hoping come the Locus Awards Weekend of June 26-28 we'll have some winners on our hands.
