Welcome to the Nightside. It’s London – through a mirror darkly – and it’s always raining, it’s always 3am and beings human and inhuman walk the streets in pursuit of ambition and unspeakable pleasures. Hell to Pay – In the aftermath of a war which changed the Nightside forever, there’s a power vacuum to be filled. The immortal Griffin is one of the prime candidates for such a role, until his granddaughter – and designated heir – is kidnapped. John Taylor, PI, is called in to help, but even with his uncanny knack for finding things and a formidable reputation forged in the war, it’s going to be a tough case. The Unnatural Inquirer – When a man claiming to have evidence of the Afterlife stored on a DVD signs up for an exclusive with the Nightside’s sleaziest tabloid, and then disappears, Taylor is the man employed to find him. However, he’s been partnered with a journalist who’s more interested in writing John Taylor: The Exposé, and with some of the Nightside’s major players also after the same thing, will Taylor get to the DVD first?
